Rakesh, even before I paid the deposit, diligently answered every question and allayed every concern I had before I booked the flight. Everything was coordinated well, from the airport transfer, to the coordination of guide and porter, to giving tips to purchasing gear etc. He was knowledgeable and excellent at coordinating the trek.
Next, my wonderful guide and porter. Madan and Prabhakar was my guide and porter respectively. They took great initiative and often went beyond their job scope to keep me safe and comfortable. They provided dietary advice, medication, motivation, and took great pictures throughout the journey. They were always ready to entertain and tell stories, distracting you from the strenuous journey ahead.
Every meal, they would present me a large inundating plate of fruits that would nourish me. They would diligently ask me how I was each and everyday and I felt greatly taken care of. Not to mention the great quality accommodations throughout the hikes that surpassed my expectations. Almost all teahouses had hot showers and great food. I had a private room to myself, often with attached bathrooms too.
Throughout the hike, we did converse and indeed, it ended up being a bittersweet ending as we summited. As much as I was happy the trek had ended, I was sad that I would be leaving the very friends I made.
This was an excellently organised hike with a highly competitive price point. It is truly hard to beat.
Had the best time on the ABC trek! My guide Ram and porter Ishwor were perfect. They were so attentive and handled everything with such care. I enjoyed every moment of the trip thanks to their hard work and great company. If you’re planning this trek, these are the people you want by your side!
Trekking the ABC was an incredible experience only made better by our amazing guide Ram and incredible Porter, Ishwor. These 2 guys made our trip unforgettable and their thought and care for all aspects of our safety and enjoyment of the trip was much appreciated. Hiking in Nepal is a dream for many, and for my second trekking adventure, Everest Hikes proved to be an outstanding partner from start to finish.
I completed the Manaslu Circuit, a trek often described as more moderate than Everest routes, though “gentle” is still a relative term in the Himalayas. What I appreciated most about this journey was the opportunity to slow down and truly experience the landscape, from the rhythm of walking along mountain trails to the quiet beauty of remote villages and expansive vistas.
My guide, Saran, played a key role in making this such a successful and memorable trip. He had an excellent knowledge of the route and had clearly built strong relationships with local communities along the way. This added a level of authenticity and ease that made the experience feel much more personal.
Saran kept the trek well organized and ensured I was prepared for each day’s challenges. He was attentive to both logistics and safety, carrying a medical kit and demonstrating confidence and competence throughout. At the same time, he tailored the experience to me, offering encouragement and challenge based on my previous trekking experience, which I greatly appreciated.
Overall, I felt well supported, safe, and fully able to enjoy the experience.
I would not hesitate to recommend Everest Hikes to anyone considering trekking in Nepal. When I return next year, I will absolutely choose them again.
We took a scenic flight over the Himalayas through Rajan. Everything went very well, from the booking and hotel transfer to the wonderful flight! I enjoyed it and recommend it.
It was my 4 time to Nepal, a country that I Love it. I did the trip to Manaslu With Everest Hikes agency and Sharan Neupane. The expirience was Amazing. Next time to NepAl I dont have doubt and I will chose the same agency.
Sharan Neupane (also known as Chitra) was an incredible guide. He is insanely experienced (we got to do the Manaslu circuit with him for his 100th time!), and from talking with other trekkers along the way, he led us to stay at all the best hostels. He was kind, knowledgeable, humble, fun, and always walked with the last person in our group to make sure no one was left behind. I felt safe with him, and the overall experience was absolutely incredible! I highly recommend Everest Hikes with Chitra!
